After attending a prestigious Canadian high school and then acquiring a degree in Canada, he sought to attain a higher sense of responsibility and a bigger challenge. A man of part Czech heritage returned to his father’s homeland to study medicine next, continuing with that same drive that had set him apart from the crowd. He had now reached out further, to aspire to change the medical student community for the better and today stands as your MIMSA president.

Vice President: Vasco Neves

From the Western edge of Europe, where the land meets the sea... There was Vasco! Born in Aveiro, the so called "Venice of Portugal", he went to university in Coimbra "the city of students" from where he started to be acquainted with academic environment and took part in the students association. After 2 years he realised that he needed to fight for his real dream of being a doctor, so he decided to come to Czech Republic, land of excellent education, and beer...

General Secretary: Stuart Andrew Hopkinson

Stuart Andrew Hopkinson, a self proclaimed “man of the world”, Stuart has had numerous adventures in countries ranging from England, Spain and Malta to the Southern Tip of Africa; this left him somewhat confused as to where he is from. Having ventured from the holy land of Cape Town, Stuart, set about studying medicine for his next venture, one that is, as yet incomplete. A relaxed guy who enjoys the sun and a cool beer, Stuart has the job of managing the MIMSA board, he is our secretary.

Treasurer: Jonathan Phillips

Out of the ashes of sarcasm and animal rights, Jonathan Phillips was born. Raised in the semi tropical land of England, his ability to count the days between rain made him quite the mathematician (rumour has it he made it to 5). After working for a brief period, he left Nottingham, deciding to go to medical school, where he successfully applied for the job of treasurer on the MIMSA board. Driven by his lust for cheese and Pokemon cards, he strives to make the experience in our medical community as painless as possible.
